All the evident features of an area of the land or country side that is considered in terms of their own aesthetic appeal are known as landscape. Perhaps United States is filled with a great diversity of landscapes than any other country in the world. Talk about deserts of Arizona, sunny beach of Florida, high peaks of Montana, glorious forests of Northern California, systematic farmlands of Ohio and the stony coast of Maine. These areas although might appear to an ordinary person just an ordinary piece of land. But if you see it from the eyes of an artist or a photographer they would see it from their own unique way and capture this ordinary land in their canvas or camera in an artistic way. The photographers who live in other countries but have seen these landscapes online or through some source look for these regions and dream about getting a chance of reaching there and capturing these landscapes in their cameras according to their own unique angle and perspective. Also the landscapes of America are the center of attraction for many film makers who continuously look for attractive locations to capture in their films. Apart from the film makers they are also a center of attraction for poets. They describe these locations in their own way adding adjectives that would just engross the reader in words and would imagine the picture in their minds.
These landscapes would often be seen on the calendars and would take you to another dream world. By looking at these captivating landscapes one would dream to live in these places and wonder what heaven would be if these landscapes are just a glimpse of the heaven.
Some of the famous landscapes of United States of America include the Crater in Oregon which is the deepest lake, and then there is the waterfall of Niagara which lies in the border of Canada and America. Although this landscape is not tall but it is wide and thus it is becoming the splendid natural landscape in the world. The other captivating landscape is Half Dome in Sierra Nevada which is in California. Another splendid natural landscape lies on the desert of Arizona which is a meteor hole. From the distance it would give an impression as if a volcano is there. Formed by the natural process of corrosion over thousand years is the fragile arched stone in Utah which is about 16 meters in height is another attractive landscape and it is also seen in many films. Cold Ocean and hot fire is a strange combination of natural landscape on Hawaiian ocean which attracts the attention of every visitor. Then from the architecture landscape, Central Park in New York City is an exemplary landscape. Apart from natural landscapes, now artificial landscapes are also created to attract more of the tourists.
All these splendid landscapes and many others form a basis of attraction for people to visit these places. The young couples and newly married couples come to visit these places and treasure a lot of memories during their visit.
