Personality Types That Are As Pleasing As Ice by Alicia Kellon
The last of the personality types is the ice. Ice is someone who is detail-oriented and analytical. This is a person that you will make a presentation to without your materials in sight; they will not make a dent on the ice type. For the ice you will need to give details and several of them and then you will need to leave them alone to analyze everything and give it a lot of thought. Flashy pictures and lifestyle will have to be left at home.
Of all the personality types you will have in your downline, the ice is the one that will be the most organized and controlled. They are the opposite of the wind in that you can ask an ice type what their goals are and they will tell you. They never miss an appointment because they always have their calendars with them. They need everything to be pefect and they also expect everyone that surrounds them to think the same way. When you are giving a presentation to an ice type, since you know that they are expecting perfection you will have to be prefectly prepared to meet this expectation or else your meeting will not go well.
The ice type is one of the personality types that will not do anything without going out of their way to make it perfect so this is also how they will approach their business. They will be your most attentive students and will not begin their efforts until they have completed all of the training. It will be important to show that perfection is important to you, too, and that this is also what you want for them. Because of this it will be wise to not just go into detail about the business, but to also go into detail about the training they receive with you. It may be tempting to talk about the money they could make, but you will have to refrain from trying to convince them to make a decision based on that alone.
The other personality types are more people-oriented than the ice type which means the ice will tend to be suspicious of you. Their lack of people skills leads them not to be very social and if they have a presence on MySpace, for example, their number of friends is very limited. This is the person that will not be like your wind who will bring all of their thousands of friends into the business. But they are perfect for training in online marketing techniques. Although talking on the phone may not be this personality type’s greatest talent, there are many ways to help them become comfortable with it. Don’t forget to let them know that you will teach them all about how to do this.
The ice type will be the hardest of the personality types to recruit into a network marketing business. Ice types do everything at a much slower pace than everyone else because they are slow to trust people and they need so many details before they can begin, but their strengths may make having them on your team worthwhile. They follow their own carefully laid plans and for this reason they appear to be efficient in their jobs as well as their lives. In their lives they are never late, so the last thing you will be left with here is to be reminded that it will seriously hurt your chances with them if you are late to your own presentation.
