Believe it or not, there are many organizations that have worthy projects that need money to finance it. Projects are many that have a good cause and would benefit especially those consumers in the community and the small businesses as well. And there are also many individuals who would like to share financially with the worthy projects given the opportunity. With effective fundraising activities, these two groups can cross paths and can put their resources together so that a good project can materialize.
In order for your fund raising activities to be productive and effective, it has to be widely publicized. For your fundraising activities to be known, different forms of media should be used, such as the internet, TV, newspapers, and radio.
Remember that at least a month before the fund raising date, all promo materials and press releases should be out already. Shows that rock. Benefit shows such as concerts, fashion shows, cultural shows are still productive fundraising activities. They had worked in the past and will still work in the present setting if given new twists. These shows should adopt themes that are related to the projects that they would like to launch. For example if the funds that will be generated will be used to protect the environment, then the concert artists should prepare a repertoire that has some relation to the environment. If the project will benefit the blind, then a blind performer can be invited to showcase his/her talent on the show.
Seminars/Forums. You can also conduct seminars and forums on timely issues that will benefit the community. Seminars on simple resume making for the youth, simple handmade products for mothers, and other livelihood seminars that will give them the idea that they can have a small business of their own in the future are red-hot ideas indeed.
To sum up, with the right objectives, well conceptualized projects, and actively involved members, the chances for success of fundraising activities is always âall the timeâ.
