It's hard to believe that 2009 is here! The holidays came and went so fast, and we are now bigger and better things in the New Year. As teacher and consultant, I think that starting a new year is always a good time to implement the Personal New Year's resolutions. Now, many of us often think and plan our personal resolutions, but have you ever thought about making resolutions for so professionally? Making changes for the better in our professional life is as important as in our personal lives. As teachers, we know there are many things we have to do every day to keep our classroom work efficiently and effectively. Lessons Planning, managing schedules, and to continue the classification are just some of the daily activities that we have to do. As you move through the gibberish of our professional life, did you ever stop and think about what they are learning or gaining professional experience? Have you learned a new strategy and practice in the classroom? Education is still fun, or have fallen into the routine of everyday routine? Here are some simple suggestions and ideas for New Year's resolutions for teachers who will help you stay cool and advance their careers.
- Read a book or an article for teachers new strategy. It is important that teachers keep in their reading and understanding of educational practices and procedures. Each month, the new strategy books and research articles that research based on sharing best practices leave for teachers. You can find these materials online through your favorite search engine or database. It is amazing to see all of the materials that are available today!
- Subscribe a teacher-friendly website. The Internet has thousands of educational websites that are available to help with learning new methods, get ideas for lessons, and manage your schedule and routines. It is important that you take the time to find a site that can benefit you and use frequently during the week.
- Take a class in college. Universities and local school districts often offer classes for intermediate teachers. Attend a class or course college is a great way to cool on best practices and meet and socialize with colleagues.
- Visit a fellow teacher classroom. It's really amazing to see all the different ideas that teachers use in their classes. By visiting the classroom teacher colleagues, you can gain wonderful knowledge and ideas to use with your students as well.
- Read a quote of inspiration every morning. At the beginning of each day, can be very inspiring to read a quote for you or your class as a whole. Dating can be a great tool to keep it fresh and ready for the next day. You can find calendars with daily appointments in them, and many resources online quote.
- Take care of yourself. For Finally and most importantly, teachers need to care for them personally and professionally. Try to leave work at school, at least a couple of nights a week, so you can rest and relax when I get home. Plan a date night with your spouse or partner, and not plan to talk about work. Find things to enjoy and be insurance often participate in them.
As teachers, it is important for us to make positive changes in ourselves, personally and professionally. Our success will depend on the students on the best practices we are using, and our enthusiasm for teaching. Make 2009 the best year for you, its the family, and his love of teaching!
